Stan you asked: "Does anyone know how the altitude correction tables for the moon at the back of the Nautical Almanac are created. What I am asking is how you go from refraction, parallax, semi-diameter, and augmentation (?) to the Main and Add'l corrections shown in the upper and lower parts of the tables." Sure. May I ask, how far have you gotten so far? If you've already figured out most of it, it would be a little easier to fill in the missing parts than repeat the whole thing from scratch. -FER 42.0N 87.7W, or 41.4N 72.1W. www.HistoricalAtlas.com/lunars
