Dear Henry,
Excellent Suggestion. I only have some of them, quite a few actually but with even many more missing.
So I would be most happy to get access to your files, both present and future.
My e-mail is "antoine.m.couette*club-internet.fr" and I will be waiting for your loading instructions. (* standing for arobace)
TO ALL CONCERNED : Does anybody hold an electronic copy of the following book "VOYAGE DE D'ENTRECASTEAUX A LA RECHERCHE DE LA PEROUSE" written by FN Captain de Rossel who was acting as d'Entrecasteaux's XO for this travel ?
There are 3 different volumes of account of this magnificent travel and I am interested only in the volume with all the celestial navigation computations. And, ... pour une fois .... it's written in French :-)) !!!
THANKS TO WHOEVER will get one such electronic copy for me. There are quite a few references on the Internet about this Travel Account but I have not been able to find any electronic copy anywhere of ti Navigation part which certainly has become "public domain" since it was published almost 200 years ago. (See my electronic mail address here-above).
Thanks again
Antoine
