I have mentioned this book, Nautical Astronomy, by Boris Krasavstev and Boris Khlyustin, a few times before. It's a detailed, comprehensive Russian text from the 1960s that was translated into English around 1970. Paperback hardcopies are available but prices have risen. There are also now pdfs of the complete book widely available (see attached). This is a different spin on celestial navigation. The translation is excellent, but it has some curious flaws. You may need your decoder ring! :)
