You can follow NavList message traffic via Twitter: https://Twitter.com/NavListNews. See the attached image below. You don't have to follow any celebrities or get all tweety in your online universe. You don't even have to sign up for an account. You can simply treat this feed as a shortcut to NavList, and you can arrange many different ways of being alerted to messages. For example, you can look at the Twitter feed directly in your web browser. If you sign up for a simple account (easy and free), there are more options. You can set up desktop notifications on your home computer that will show a little alert when a new message is available. Or you can set up alerts to your phone, either quiet popups or noisy announcements with lots of bells 'n whistles. Each NavListNews notification is sent out automatically, faster than you would receive messages by email, and each includes a short link to the message boards.

An enhancement since last week: each notification now includes a little snapshot of the NavList message. You can't read the message in the snapshot. That's not what it's for. You follow the link to the message boards to read it in detail, just as always. The snapshot serves as a visual preview. At a glance, you can get a sense of whether the message is a long, content-filled essay or a quick comment, and you can see small previews of any images that might be included. The snapshot of the Twitter feed below will appear in a snapshot... in the Twitter feed...
