Here's the revised informal gathering plan. Saturday's weather forecast is still miserable, but Sunday looks better. We'll be meeting on SUNDAY October 28 starting at 3:15. Stan is definitely planning to come down. Any and all in the area, please feel free to stop by. Gary?? You in New England yet? 

Since the weather forecast for Sunday has improved, I will be teaching day two of my class and probably taking them to do practice sights over the lunch hour. It's normal for us to finish about half an hour early on day two (meaning 3:30) and, with a little effort, I will be done right at 3:15. I'm still planning to do some dome time in the planetarium since that's where the STELLA app is installed. For those unfamiliar, STELLA is a package that has been used aboard USN vessels for over a decade (anyone know how long?) as the standard sight-planning and sight reduction tool for celestial navigation. After dome time, we can go grab a bite. If anyone can't find us, please text me at 401-644-6012.
