Ah, I remember that occasion well. For those who weren't there and who read this story, here is what really happened that resulted in the placement of the plaque. Frank had found the house where the wedding took place and he asked the current owner if we could place the plaque on his house. He refused because he was afraid that the county tax collector consider that the plaque raised the value of the house and would force the owner to pay higher taxes. So, in the end, we were allowed to mount it at the local historical society.
