Josh,
My knee is better, so I'm out on actual boats these days. But I finally had some time to play with this one. I messed around with various possible lats and longs and came up with a DR position not far from Rum Cay in the Bahamas. I would have thought our navigator would be drifting slowly toward the island in question. But the fix I got has him a bit southwest of Run Cay, and apparently drifing away from it.
The 18:40:20 UT fix, after advancing the 16:45 LOP, is 23° 33'N, 74° 44'W.
