That calculation would have been close tonight.  26 March 2021, Greenwich Reach, local noon 00.06 Greenwich Nautical Time GNT, Sun bears south.
    New Moon
    Mar 13, 22:21GNT.  Age of Moon 12.5 days.  Moon’s lag = 49x12.5/60 = 10hrs 12.5min.
The Moon should bear south at 10h18.5’ GNT.  From ‘Navigator’ Moon at 22h 18.5’ 25th March, or 10h18.5’GNT 26th March, Moon Bears S12
