Comparisons with the 2023 Nautical Almanac Commercial Edition (blue cover) show that our spreadsheets remain sufficiently accurate for the year 2023 without the need for any changes or updates in the calculations.
The attached screenshot shows the spreadsheet sun.xls, which (in addition to Sun’s Greenwich hour angle, declination, and semidiameter) also displays the equation of time as a function of universal time.
