'Tis the season of the Messier marthon (go for all 110 in one night). Anyone ever tried a navigation star marathon?
How many did you get? Where and when would you go the get the greatest number? (Through a sextant. No goto's or telescopes.)
Our stars are brighter, but too spread out to have a chance of getting all. Any chance you could do it in two nights from the same spot?
