Ha ha. Yeah, there's a dog in there. Just one? Any other animals (not necessarily mammals!)?? For any of you who haven't looked yet, this is a good and relatively straight-forward puzzle for navigation stars. There's also a nautical asterism closely based on one relatively dim constellation: it's a "mainsail". Do you see it? Here's the photo again:
The most important thing to know about this photo is that the field of view is wide --around 100°-- and the stars in view are typical naked eye stars in a middle twilight sky.
