"New" AH fluid- black coffee

The fluid in the AH we use is most always old Diesel oil. The problem is the mess when you spill the stuff as it ends up all of your car floor or garage and the AH device itself gets messy.
Lately we've tried just water which works well until is fogs up the glass. RainEx, I think, makes some sort of anti-fogging stuff but haven't tried it yet.
So, even though a water based AH fluid will fog the glass I've tried using black coffee. It provides a nice reflective surface with no discernable difference in reflectivity than Diesel oil.
