Could you please elaborate a bit more regarding the "difficulties" or "sensibilities" of using a SNO-T ? I did not grasp well what you expressed.
i have one myself (in a near new condition thanks to the kind help and support of Mr Morris), with even the issue regarding the horizon filters solved, and it is operational like a normal sextant. I did not find any difference compared to the others I own.
The above put aside, I agree with you: the SNO-T belongs to the "Rolls Royce" of the sextant and I love it.
Mine is not for sale, sorry.
