Hi Markku, Bernard, Bruno and other members,
I have a SNO-T sextant (n° 81978) and, as Bruno, did not find any important differences compared with other sextant I have used (Freiberger, Tamaya, Lorieux, C Plath etc). Mirrors of the SNO-T are not so easily damaged, I did not meet problems with the shades and adjusting screws.
SNO-T is a good sextant (see also Bill Morris opinion), perhaps not the Rolls Royce or the Ferrari; as other sextants quoted above, I think it will be convenient for a beginner (except the use of the astronomical telescope wich reverses the image and is quite upseting).
