Exactly my thinking Wednesday. (Your online almanac is handy if I'm not
feeling lethargic.) At 41.75N 86.25W we are not in the totality path.
I've been fortunate to witness a full eclipse in the past, but I did
want to know the azimuths and range of altitudes for first-time-digital
    photographic purposes.

After backing out the main and HP corrections from the moon HC, it
appeares the moon will be lower than the sun when their azimuths match,
so a perfect chance for rare upper-limb observations of both bodies.
Hopefully a similar setup at LAN (34 minutes prior to max here), so time
for two shots while the sun stalls out, albeit on the cusp of my
sextant's range with an AH. I hope to calculate that scenario today.

Unless I misread it, the semi diameter of the moon at full totality will
be larger than the sun's, so a pretty sweet view for those lucky enough
to be centered in the path.
