The Jerchow book, from which the Knierim page takes the text, also has "KS 30" in the German and English version. But that seems to be a misreading indeed: if you look closely at the pictures in Willem Mörzer Bruijns' "Sextants at Greenwich" ( pages 233-237) you can see that it is really a "D" - the left side of the figure is flat, not round.
