From their website:
The James Caird Society is a registered charity, is the only institution that exists to preserve the memory, honour the remarkable feats of discovery in the Antarctic and commend the outstanding qualities of leadership associated with the name of Sir Ernest Shackleton, KCVO (1874-1922), especially during the ill-fated but glorious Endurance Expedition.
The President of the organization is one Alexa Shackleton, the grand daughter of Sir Ernest.
In their News section, they have taken official notice of our (George, Lars, Robin and myself) paper on the celestial navigation by Frank Worsley. You can see the notice here:

While we don't expect to be awarded the Nobel Prize for literature, pestered by television news crews or make the rounds of talk shows, it is indeed gratifying that the James Caird Society has noticed our effort!
