I know this thread is long since over, but here is one I have. My fianc?e is the child of two professional classical bass players and she snickered at a particular scene. When the doctor character is injured, Aubrey plays his violin without him, but for dramatic effect the dr's cello is shown leaning against an empty chair. Are they suggesting that he just leaves his cello propped against a chair on a moving ship? As a side note, I heard that Russell Crowe actually learned to play the violin for the film. -Casey > -----Original Message----- > I was planning to go and see the film Master and Commander > Far Side of the > World. > There was a posting about things to look for in the film.
