Greetings!
I have a sextant that I bought in New Bedford yesterday June 23rd. I'm not familiar with the parts of a sextant so please understand. The ring where the promary scope screws in is angled upwards about 45 to 50 degrees. I'm told this should point at the horizon mirror, which BTW is missing. The index mirror is missing as well and I'd like to replace them. Anyway, is there a fix to getting the primary scope pointed in the correct angle? I've tried using some force to move it but it won't budge. I'm letting a little WD 40 soak in and hoping for the best. Any words of wisdom about where I can get replacement mirrors would be great,
Thank you,
