Yes in about 1972, the Intrepid had both Satellite (dopp)and Omega on board.
We, (I) evaluated them in the Atlantic,Baltic,and Med for over a year.(hundreds of fixes)
I kepted Mr. Brown of Oceano informed and wrote a finale paper on Omega. It was considered inportant, so the Navigator added as well the CO. All the ships that had it were having big problems. Especially in the Med. You could get a three point fix 19 NM from known position. Part of the problem was the lack of stations. Ill look around for the Intrepid Message.
