Carly,
I would recommend the Maryland School of Sailing and Seamanship's course, Celestial Navigation (ASA 107).
See link: http://www.mdschool.com/courseDe.htm
The course is taught online using GoToMeeting. The instructor, Tom Tursi, presents the course live. It is not pre-recorded.
In advance of the course, the school will send you the student manual and required plotting charts.
Upon successful completion of the course, you can obtain the ASA 107 certificate.
You should be familiar with coastal navigation and pencil-and-paper plotting before taking this course.
Tom designed this course for celestial navigation by a sailor in a small boat offshore. He teaches the fundamental concepts behind celestial navigation and then explains the procedure for taking, reducing, and plotting sights.
Tom is very clear, methodical, and patient. The test is rigorous but fair.
This is a solid introductory course. It will allow you to navigate across oceans. Then, if you desire, there are many aspects of celestial navigation that you can explore at your leisure.

Subject: [NavList] Online celestial navigation courses
Hello! Can anyone recommend a good and reputable online course to learn celestial navigation? I'm out in Ucluelet British Columbia so travelling to a class in person isn't really possible, and trying to teach myself has been less than successful (I need the structure of a course and the accountability of tests/lessons/assignments). Something that could lead to some sort of qualification eventually would also be motivating. I've seen some where you can follow a syllubus yourself, but I'm hoping to find a course where students can actually log in and have discussions and ask questions.
Thank you!
Carly
