Hi Robin,
I'm lucky to have an"as new" Otis King (£25) from ebay a few years ago.
Works perfectly. Very well built. No,tube locking and no apparent way of dismantling it to repair/ service the internal felt friction clutches.(can easily so service the Bygrave) So I gues it relies on very good contruction.I've been using mine for 3-4 years and it has not slipped yet. If I built a larger trig verison, I would add a lock as per Gary LaPook design which works well on my prototype minifuller2. the traditional Fuller has no lock and again, does not slip and can be easily serviced.
Thanks for the post script files. Guess i need to get this and learn how to use it. Currently, I can only made PDFs in photoshop elements 7
Best wishes
Francis
