Glad to hear from you again Alex. How is your foot heeling? Hope you are in good shape again.
When I read the features your describe for the "best sextant" I can just tell you go buy a good Soviet SNO-M. It features exactly what you are looking for in a good sextant.
Even the price is very affordable and it is not a Museum piece. Therefore you can bring it along on cruises or anywhere you are likely to need it as it is easyly replaceable.

On my opinion,.....
Speaking of combining the best features of all sextants known to me,
I would include:
a) Soviet illumination device, SNO (no battery!)
b) Inverting scope with cross-wires
c) Eyepiece filter (a very useful thing).
And NO enclosed "Trommel", of course.
