In American Nautical Almanac they lasted a bit longer until 1911. The edition of the following year contains the statement "The tables of lunar distances formerly given on Pages XIII to XVIII, inclusive, for each month of the Greenwich Ephemeris, are omitted, as it has been decided by the authorities of the Navy Department that they are of little practical use to navigators."
