If Navlist posts had a ‘likes’ facility, your post on picture enhancing would get my tick. There are similar photographs here. https://www.thetimes.com/uk/society/article/gen-z-look-to-the-stars-as-popularity-of-astronomy-goes-into-orbit-rksm5qm98 . Mrs P and I walked past High Force and even stopped at the High Force Hotel in Feb/March 1969. Even in those pre light pollution days, the sky certainly didn’t look as startling as it does in the article. DaveP
