I would choose the one on the right, for it is really easy to do the 'off arc' bit , when finding Index error Sun above and below.
Performing that way,with the one on the right, it might just be possible to make a reading error of 0.1 or even 0. 2, you don't need to think about it. ...
On the other hand, foul read the left one, for whatever reason , may mean an error of 0.8.or 0.9....I have been on the cusp of that misfortune many times.
