According to Irvin in his book Aircraft Instruments--1941, The Pioneer Aircraft Octant Type 342 (A-5) has natural horizon capabilities.
The 1944 ed. of USAAF Navigator's Information File mentions the Pioneer A-7 sextant as having a natural horizon mode.
Both have radium paint for bubble illumination, although the A-5 also has an electric light which was eliminated on the A-7.
