I worked on an excel spread sheet a few years ago that mostly reproduces HO249 Vol 1 results just a list of star RA's and Dec's.
("mostly", since the exact rules for star selection aren't given, but given reasonable choices about magnitudes, altitudes, and angles, the results are quite similar.)

OR, just use HO 249 volume 1 and choose the stars with the diamonds. For daytime fixes, sun - moon, choose the dates for first and last quarter moon.
