For those of you who are interested in constant latitude scale (CLS) small area plotting sheets, attached is a portion of a United States Power Squadrons Windows program that was essentially abandoned about 15 years ago, but was still so popular that when it could not be run on 64-bit Windows people complained. The developer did not have the time or inclination to support it, so he let me have the source code (unfortunately for an older version).
Last year I made a version that would run on 32- and 64-bit Windows, which is the version that is attached (CLSPLOT.EXE). The program consists of several functions, but only the CLS portion is attached. It will create a CLS plotting sheet, but does a lot more. There is an installation program for the entire program, but not just for the CLS portion, so I have also attached the dll and ocx files that I believe are necessary to run it. Not all might be needed for just the CLS function, and they might already be on your computer. If one is needed and your computer does not have it, it will let you know. Instructions for registering these files is easily found on the web.
Also attached is the manual for the entire program. The CLS part starts on page 3. "Installing the software" on page 1 may be of some help.
If you still can't get it to run, let me know.
