Sorry about that - I thought perhaps that it really was the name of the book - or a Freudian slip. It is their original 1st Edition hardcover version, or subsequent softcover versions of the first pub, you will find an article titled "A New Method of Plotting Celestial Lines of Position". A different author details how to do this in your log book using the ruled lines either vertically or hormonally for lat or long. I have used the technique for years, and find it very useful. I recall sending a link to a tanker captain's site who kept scrupulously detailed celestial entries, and who may also have used it.
