I've seen the name "Polhemus" before in NavList posts about this 'computer'. But otherwise it's an unusual, rare name. I wouldn't expect to see that name twice in six hours in completely different contexts. And yet this happened tonight... The attached screen shot is from a recent movie. As I was casually watching tonight, I was really shocked to see the name Polhemus. The star of the film, Anne Hathaway, crossing the street here, is about to enter "The Polhemus Dispensary". See? It's carved in stone over that door. It's a real place; a former clinic in Brooklyn that recently opened as luxury condos.
Polhemus, Polhemus, Polhemus. Does this name work like Betelgeuse?? If I see it once more in this span of 24 hours, will the "Polhemus Demon" appear?!
