All. Many thanks to all for the information on the Polhemus. I thought I’d better look mine out (from that suitcase under he bed in the spare room) to check what’s with it. Sure enough a full set of instruction were inside. I see the price label in 2005 from Bill Williams Tool Co, 3520 E Belknap, Fort Worth, TX 76111 USA was $24.95, and the total price including P&P to the UK was $58. It’s in what used to be called ‘new and unissued’ condition. I really must bite the bullet and get started with it. Does anyone have a readable copy of ‘Navigating the Supersonic B58’ by Captain William L Polhemus published in the ION Journal Summer Autumn 1960, Vol7, issue 2-3, pages 127-139? http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/navi.1960.7.issue-2-3/issuetoc not being a member of the ION, I can only get it in ‘Out of focus’.
