    I only joined NavList in 2009; nevertheless, I ended up using the same two equations in my one_body_fix.xls spreadsheet (the denominator of my latitude formula uses a different form, but it is equivalent to yours). A screenshot of the solution for your example is attached.


    This is not quite the end, though. Antoine’s concerns about the choice of LHA (MA) are valid, because there indeed are cases when the “other” solution is the correct one; he also provided an example of that.
