    Position lines crossing epilogue?

    Hello:
I re did all my caculation on the problem 3-2 from 100 Problems in Celestial Navigation.
All of my assumed Long. were the same except for the Venus.
Unfortunately I did not keep my old work sheets and can not compare the distances and ZN. However the plot looks very different. There are still many triangles however they are smaller. The point of intersection for most LP's has moved closer to the DR and form a tighter group. My new answer is 40deg 3' N and 153deg 8' W. My old answer was 40deg 17'N and 153deg 13' W. The book's answer is 40deg 1' N and 153deg 9' W.
I will be more care and check my work when working out the problems with a caclulator.
I'm glad I was able to spark such a lively disscussion and what to thank everyone for their feedback and input.
I have learned alot and hopefully others have too.
    Guy
