You won't be disappointed. I have and Astra and it is a fine instrument. Results limited only by care in sight taking and practice. It seems unlikely that there would be any functional difference in accuracy between Atra and Cassens/Plath, in a small boat environment. I have used it for lunar distance sights and it is more accurate than my eyes are.
