A prism scope shouldn't effect the index mirror, should it? The prism simply folds the optical path so the total the scope is shorter. If you were using a split mirror before, you'd be using the same split mirror as before unless for some reason the mirror has to be changed when moving to the higher power scope. I think I'M missing something. Gurus chime in. I need some schoolin'.
