My name in its original German, Schr?der, is pronounced "shrer-dah". In the part of the US where I was born, it was "shray-der", but when I moved south, it became "shro-der" via the vox populi. So right here in America my brother and I have different surnames. > By the way, I understand the whole name is Adolphe-Laurent- > Anatole-Marcq de Blonde de St. Hilaire An interesting tidbit I shall also use in class. My attempt to pronounce that will give needed comic relief. Something I've wondered about: with the Winter Olympics coming up and "Torino" raised to international prominence, are our Anglican cousins sticking with "Turin" or going along with the "correct" Torino? But that's off-topic. -Jeff Schroeder Gulf Breeze, Florida 30?23.4'N 87?05.7'W __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
