Thanks for all the input on this topic, appreciate it.
For better or worse, I won the auction - swooped in at the last minute and
managed to trump two other bidders. Happiness in this case is a fast
Internet connection and rapid typing skills... :-).
Final sale price was $429.50 - about $50 over the "Opening Bid" price, and
by my calculations almost a $220 savings over buying everything new (which I
would have done anyway). I'll post some comments after it arrives and I get
a chance to shake it out.
