Hello,
These six-star selection is due to the fact that for three-star LOP angle between stars is 120°. If I divide this interval into two parts I get 60°. So, I chose 6x60°. It should give me two sets sthat might be used.
This table is just start of the work. I want to know exactly which stars are chosen for a given Lat, LHA. And eventually I want to compile something that will last more then just 5 years. And will give the best accuracy possible. Hence 0.1' numbers for Hc and 0.1° for Zn. I hope that my try will be sucessful and even more: useful. But this will be chcecked at the very end.
At this moment I will ask you if such set of stars are really useful. If needed I can provide some sets for different latitudes. Those of you who live near the sea shore can check it in real environment. I live about 500km from the Baltic Sea.
Best wishes,
Rafal
