An improved Schlereth Classic Ageton tablular method complements the classic sin cos pocket calculator method and would be a quick learn for those already doing sight reduction by pocket trig calculator. The Ix Haversine Doniol Method is the coolest of all especially for the minimalist. I have a one page version that can fold into the wallet. An excellent tabular sight reduction method to have in the CN tool bag. I recommend learning both methods to backup the pocket calculator.

Date: 2015 Oct 21, 20:56 -0700Try the Hanno Ix et al haversine method. No negative numbers, no logs, fast and easy. One trig table of about eight pages. Pencil and paper, no computer or books of tables needed. If your calculater goes out you are stuck with ONE multiplacation. Just saying.
