The Empire torpedo level is adaquate but it it possible to aspire to much ge-reater accuaracy than 2 nm, with better levels. In 13 sun sights done this weekend, 7LL & 6UL, I averaged a=0.4. The largest was a=0.7, the 4 smallest were a=0.2. That evening I got successive a=0.0 for sights of Arcturus, Antares and Nunki. Information on how to assesmble "home made" levels of 10 second sensitivity have been posted.
