Greetings list members. I have joined the list to try and get instructions for replacing the fluid in my (new in 1942) Bubble Sextant. The bubble is there and can be adjusted in size but cannot be removed, in fact the smallest I can make it is about 1/2 of the full field of view. I believe it is to be filled with Hexane and that I shall need to unsolder, fill, and resolder, but I have no detailed instructions or advice. Can anybody help me please? Best regards, David Richards.
