Since the opportunity to move the "navigation list" to a new and
properly functioning list service has temporarily failed, I STRONGLY
RECOMMEND that new members (and old) post to this list's predecessor
"Navigation-L" for the time being. If and when the list service for
Navigation-L crashes, even if it is months from now, then this list is
all set up and thoroughly tested so that we can switch to it
immediately. There is no point keeping both active so I recommend that
you post to that list. I do not support efforts to split the discussion
group.

For those of you who are new to this list, you can easily subscribe to
Navigation-L while it is still active (it has some technical problems,
usually only annoying but occasionally serious). To subscribe to
Navigation-L, send an e-mail to listserv[AT]listserv.webkahuna.com
replacing [AT] by the "at" sign that belongs in e-mail addresses with
the message "subscribe navigation-l (your name)" as the body of the
message in plain text. The subject may be left blank. So for example,
if Nathaniel Bowditch wanted to sign on to Navigation-L, he would send
a message to the subscribe address above with no subject containing
only this text:
subscribe navigation-l Nat Bowditch .
