Dear Gary, thanks for reassuring me.
I do not expect too much - though the seller's photos suggest the book is in goodish condition, I'm not sure if all the maps/charts/supplement materials are there. Will see.
I plan to scan/OCR it.

As a complete novice/outsider/newcomer to navigation - I did not know about Mr Gatty before I saw an advertisement of some high-end wrist-watch piece mentioning him.
