Somewhere on my computer I have a lengthy video of a sunset from Long Beach, Washington, looking out into the Pacific, which I took a couple of years ago on a clear autumn evening in a vain attempt to capture the green flash. Sadly, pretty though the video is, the lens was 80mm on a crop-frame SLR so not what you are looking for. The sun's disk is a small percentage of the frame.
Off topic - the film link: the main actor is the late Bruno Lawrence who was very well known to New Zealanders of my generation. In addition to acting he was a musician and had a few bands over the years. I was too young to go to concerts of one of these bands, Blerta, but his bandmates included Geoff Murphy, who was the director of the film linked - The Quiet Earth. I did go to a cencert of his later (and short-lived band) The Crocodiles, in 1980.
