While I sort out my A8A bubble sextant, I'd be interested in buying one that is known to work. Perhaps one that has been repaired by Mr Swartz.
So far I've repaired the bubble on mine, but the test shot of the sun showed an error of approximately 5 deg. I can't find out any instructions on how to correct the error, also the averaging system either doesn't work or I don't know how to use it. The lights work great!
Anyone with an A8A that can enlighten me on how to do further adjustments would be appreciated, or that has one for sale, I'm in the market.
Thanks
