Steve B, you wrote:

Yes, you can still register for those workshops. Use NavList discount code NL3434 at ReedNavigation.com.
You added:
"I think Lunars would be too tough for me."
No, not a bit! Lunars can be easy. I certainly throw in some extra math and deeper history since that's what many people are expecting in a Lunars workshop, but working lunars involves math that can actually be less difficult than getting a modern celestial position fix.
You asked:
"I would consider paying for your Celestial Season Pass, but it's a little expensive for me. Do you have any sort of a deal"
Use code NL3434. That's a good discount, and even without a discount, that CSP gets you six workshops (plus six repeats) for less than the standard cost of 2.5 workshops.
"maybe for two months instead of six months?"
No, it's six months. You could always come back for the six-month period that starts in the Spring. That would be six months of all "Pacific" schedule classes. The current six-month period is half "Atlantic" and half "Pacific". Here's a reminder on that "oceanic" scheduling. :) Atlantic vs Pacific.
You concluded:
"I've got an old (1940s navy) sextant I could trade you. It's missing mirrors, but maybe you could use it for your classes??"
Oh yes, absolutely. Send me some photos at Frank@ReedNavigation.com, and if it's worth something to me, we can barter for the workshops. But please nothing further on the NavList message boards on this question. I don't want to annoy the group!
