Hi Bill, Frank et all,
sitting tight here in Kingston, definitely no astro practice for now!
The western parts of the island were more directly affected, the hurricane force winds extended out 30 miles from centre in a path from landfall just west of Black River, northwards to where it departed near Rose Hall / Falmouth. Kingston and the rest of the island were affected by Tropical Force winds, but mountain areas can get higher wind strengths... we will know more tomorrow as the final toll becomes clear.
Yours aye,
Al Stewart
