Re the eclipse of the moon:

Pittsburgh's weather struck again. We looked out around 2330 last night, saw a crystal clear full moon, along with some stars and a planet or two. There were some low clouds too, but the moon stood out like a big searchlight.
We set an alarm for 0200 and we got outside a few minutes later. Couldn't see the proverbial "damned thing", the cloud deck was solid. Oh well, maybe next time.
