I am writing from my backyard. The clouds are breaking now and then. I get quick clear views of the Moon with a great big bite taken out of it... for ten or fifteen econds... then deep dark clouds for minutes. And the peepers are peeping... And the bell buoy at Kettlebottom Reef is gonging gently in the distance... And the surf at Mackerel Cove is rolling in....
The shadow line is now past Copernicus and approaching the lunar Appenines.
